Default How to mount a second helmet?

Hey guys/gals, I've been riding my 01 F4i for awhile now but have a question I have never seen modeled to me...

How do you strap a helmet on the back of the bike so it hangs off the side?

I've seen other people zipping down the road with an extra helmet if they were picking up another rider and I find that I am needing to do that. Sometimes I commute or need to pick someone up and am tired of trying the helmet to my backpack.

Thanks in advance!

Don't you have the strap that runs over the top of the passenger seat? Just hook it on that.

so just strap it on the passenger seat strap like you would strap it on your head? I think I could do that. I've just seen them snug on the side as if they were clipped in there :/

Thanks for the reply

I've also got an extra clip on my 05. So one faces the other direction, but holds it perfectly fine.

Inside your passenger seat there is a cross bar that the seat hooks on too. on both sides of the cross bar there is a hook. Looks something like this [------] the hooks are angled in at the top like those brackets from the back of the bike... loop the metal loop holes on the helmet strap over these hooks and pop the seat back on....the helmet will hang off the side and it would be almost impossible for it to fall off unless the strap snaps in which case your helmet is a piece.... Sorry i may have done a really poor job at explaining that but hopefully it helps!

K7inne09 that explains it perfectly! Also keeps people from stealing your helmet that way!

What also works for me and some of my friends, is when we go in somewhere really quick, we just loop it around the passenger peg, and pinch it. That stops a lot of people from just walking by and knocking it off, or a quick ****** and grab.

This is only for the sake of taking people somewhere. So in other words, I ride to work by myself and then take someone to their home after work :/

Lockless, if you were talking to me, I meant if we are parked. But I agree 100%
