i got just short of 10k out of the stock dunlops. I am sure it affected my cornering and what not but i was on the tail at 9400 miles dragging my knee. It finally gave out on the tail i threw a belt and went and got some m3s well worth the money. I have 3000 miles on them right now and cant even see wear yet.

i got michalin pilots and the dude at the shop said they were rated for 10k miles and i got about 5k and they are getting squared already i can hella feel the diference on the corners seems a bit more bumpy when i hit them. who makes the m3's and how much were those they sound better than mine.

m3s are metzler supposedly its the same tire as the diablo corsa3 not sure though. I paid 300 for front and rear installed. Kinda got raped but i was at the tail he had me by the ***** and still didnt do me to bad. Took the old ones off mounted new and reinstalled for 300 seems half way decent. not sure how much just the tires are.

I don't know how you guys are getting 6000+ out of your stock tires, you must not corner very hard or something. I only got 3800 out of my stock dunlop rear and the cords were showing, then I switched over to a tire that can handle the railing, MichelinPilot Powers.

I got 11027 on my stock Dunlops before I switched to my PP a week ago Saturday. The tire was starting to square off from all the highway riding commuting nonsense. I have 150 miles on my Pilot Powers (every mile ridden in a huge rainstorm) and the middle of them i can feel a little ridge already. Today it isn't supposed to rain so hopefully I can warm them up nicely and hit some Wisconsin twisties (turning left or right at a stop light or 4 way on a country road). hah

I replaced the stock 207's at just under 5k. I had to because I picked up a bad tear in the rear. I don't think I would have been comfortable going much much more than another 1k with them (6k total) with and there is no way in hell they would have lasted to 10k. And I'm not an aggressive rider by any stretch...
