How to install a new foot brake lever?

Need some help here guys, still piecing the bike back together and need to replace the foot brake. Where do I start for install? Anyone have a good writeup or install vid? My stock lever basically snapped when it dug into the ground.

its not that bad.. use allen headed sockets to remove the 2 bolts that hold the rearset to the frame.. remove the heel guards with 2 smaller allen headed bolts..
You need a good snap ring plier to get the snap ring off that holds on the lever inside.. IIRC it was an external ring.. don't lose it! Remove that.. then the 2 springs that hold the lever on the rearset.. that's it.. slide the lever off the rearset.. install is reverse

take pics along the way.. it will help in reassembly..

If you have the service manual it will have some pictures to help you and step by step instructions.
