How do you store YOUR bike.

How do you store YOUR bike.
Well looks like the season is coming to an end, with 50-60 degree weather coming up looks like the bike is about to get stored. I plan on doing an oil change, i'm not worried about my tires flat spotting since they will be replaced before next season (dam nails). Should i start it up once or twice a month or just let it sit? Anything else i should do, maybe put it up on jack stands?
Thanks for the help/tips guys. State goes from 85degrees to 60 in a day.

For storage, like you said, change the oil out. I would also remove the battery and put it on a tender over the duration of the winter. There is some debate on whether or not the engine needs to be started every now and then, but I usually let it run once every two weeks or so. I also put a cover over my bike. Hope this helps.

If you are not gonna ride it at all.Make sure the tank is full of gas(keeps water from building up in it),oil leave the same stuff in it and just change it before you ride next season, and start it up about once every week or two.
Hell its already in the 60's in the morning now,its the BEST time to ride..No dying in the heat while wearing all my gear..Im not gonna stop riding till it gets in the 30's..

How bad does it get during your winters, Blue. Maybe you could take it for a fifteen minute ride about once a month. That's what I did last winter (except for when it snowed). If you want to put her away, these guys have got it covered for the most part. Maybe put a nice warm blanky on her with your scent on it, so she doesn't get lonely.
