I'm looking to paint my trip tree. Just wondering if anyone has a walkthrough of exactly how to do it and what tools to use. Thanks so much guys.

 

I assume you only want to remove the top part to paint?

Loosen your bar clip-ons and slide them up and off the forks tubes.
Remove the giant chrome nut in the center.
It should pop right off.

 

Can I suggest powder coating?

There is a very high chance of painting looking terrible, powder coating is a nice uniform finish, hardwearing and if done properly will look better than a DIY paint job that will rub off in a few months time.
