Hey guys, I can't seem to unlock the passenger seat/trunk of my 2001 F4i. It has the Hotbodies undertail and it was fine until a couple days ago..

I took off the rear fairing and took pics.

This is how it looks without the key in it:









This is how it looks when I turn the key, it moves but it does nothing to unlock it:






First 2 pics are without the key, and the second 2 pics are with the key turning trying to unlock it

 

the piece that holds the cable might be bending when you turn the key
