That undertail setup looks like my friends Kawasaki Zxr6

 

I took pictures during the day of the following:

Before and after of the running lights
Before and after of the turn signal

My attached pictures are in that order.

What a huge difference!!!!!!! Well worth the $100!!!

I didn't take any pictures at night there was no need, you can see the daylight pictures are a huge improvement over the nine crappy LED's that Hot Bodies provide!!!!!!!!

Also, the brake lights work great. (too hard to capture a picture by myself....)

 

Hot Bodies undertails are pretty cheap, Thats why I've never installed one on any of my bikes.

 

I bought the bike from a buddy and it already had the hotbodies installed. It gives the bike a sweet look, it's just the lights that need help. It still sucks to buy something from a company that provides poor lights.

 

I know this is an old post but how did you take your hotbodies led lights apart to install the upgraded lights? I want to do this to but cant find out how to unseal the housings.

The hotbodies undertray is only for the f4i with two seats??
because I have the one long seat and just bought one for my motorcycle from ebay

No that item says its for the 2004 or maybe other years what year is your bike? I know 2004 started the single seat (banna seat) so that should fit. I have a 2001 f4I with the two seats and it looks like the only difference is the tip, mine is rounded at the tip(light side) and the one you bought is not.

Either thats not a 2001 or someone modified it to a banna seat because 2001 to 2003 came with the two seats. If they did change it then thats a 2004 or so year tail section and it should fit.


Thats my 2001 with two seats, my buddy has a 2002 with the two seats also.
