OK...mine lines show in front of the pinion cover/gear lever area. I don't remember seeing them there before I cleaned out the pinion cover etc. Are they supposed to be tucked in behind somewhere or showing. I forget.

Hey guys old thread alert but I need some help here...

Changed my oil yesterday for the first time and pretty sure I did not overfill...put in exactly 3.5 qts of GN-4. To verify I went out today with a co-worker to verify that the oil was right at the top mark. We both took turns holding the bike to double check and thats when I noticed what looked like a couple of drops of oil under the bike...I immediately checked the drain plug but that was as dry as can be. I then felt the hoses and discovered that whatever leaked out came out of the first hose closest to the front of the bike...it wasn't a ton..just a few drops and the bike had been sitting for about 6 hours after I rode it 50+ miles to work....it sure seems like oil to me which has me pretty concerned....ideas on what is supposed to be coming out of that first hose????

Wait... so they're NOT to help your bike ride under water like a submarine? No wonder my bike just died when we tried to cross the river.
