This is a one of a kind piece. I designed and water jet cut it while interning last summer. It is made of 1/4" aluminum plate and has a polished finish. I know for sure it will mount onto 2001-2004 F4i's. may fit other bikes. asking $50 shipped. and yes, this piece was expensive because i only had one made.

does it only fit the stock undertail or can it be mounted on other undertails?

it probably wont fit on the undertail. This piece looks like it mounts to the swingarm on the left hand side. many customs and harleys have this type of license plate holder. beautiful piece.

 

yea that sounds about right, if this does mount to the swingarm could you post some pictures of it mounted. Send me those pictures plus pictures of the front where the actual plate mounts on to the piece. How would you like payment, Payal?

 

The Chica is correct. It mounts on the right side of the swing arm and sits flush in the axle grove. It is also long enough and curved so that it appears to be "inside" the wheel. This means that the wheel rotates around the plate. The license plate is also mounted in the vertical position.

can you post close up pictures of the welds and if possible pictures of it mounted on the swingarm asap. If you can show me both of those and the welds are clean then I will more then likely buy it from you.

I do not have a digital camera at the moment. It is getting warrantied. I will say that they welds were professionally done and so was the bend. It is 1/4" aluminum welded through completely. It is not going to fracture. Click on the pictures to enlarge them and use a photo tool to magnify. I do not have pics of it mounted because I don't have my camera.
