RE: Honda 2000 CBR F4i???
the only thing about the bike being stollen seems like a lot of work to sell a bike most stollen bikes are joyridden or parted out to get maxium buck. Just to me doesnt sound like a thief would want to waste their time doing a conversion to make it an f4i and even if they had all the f4i parts it seems like alot of headache. Also on the title it should have a date of it being issued if the title was issued around 2000 then more than likely its clean from the dealership unless it was crashed or stolen in that year and then upgraded. Just sounds like to much work for a thief who just wants to make a quick buck.

RE: Honda 2000 CBR F4i???
Thanks for the great feedback. Unfortunatly the guy i bought the bike from was a friend (neverrode the bike)and he got it off someone who he doesn't have contact with anymore. I got the bike for $4000.00 and he threw in $1000.00 in gear for free. Even if i do i have mutt this has been one he!! of a job putting it back together and have it run this smoothly for 6 months. I haven't had any problems with it.
One more question....does anyone have any tools i can check online with the VIN and engine number?

RE: Honda 2000 CBR F4i???
i think all that happend was it was put down pretty hard and someone put a pretty penny into putting it back together and ended up with a 2000 F4 frame.. Because YES the 2001 bikes were made in 2000, but the model sticker still says that it is a 2001. Id go over everything good and paint or PC that frame black so it atleast looks original.
