Doesnt the earilier F4i's have black frames and the newer ones have the silver? It doesnt look like it has been polished. I think you got yourself a mutt

the 10th digit of your VIN should indicate what year the vehicle is. check the VIN, not the date stamped next to the VIN.

 

The VIN number has a Y in it. Which a person on the another forum said was for 2000.

Would someone go through all the work to change a F4 to become an F4i? wouldn't it be more cost effecient to just sell the f4 and buy an F4i?

youve got an F4 frame on that bad boy, it was put down hard apparently

How do you figure that it was put down hard? It was never salvaged. I'm wondering if i should go back to the seller and get my money back.

 

look @ your stator cover . and plenty of things could/should be salvaged but because it was never reported to anyone it allows you to keep the clean title even though it should carry a salvaged title .
