Can someone please tell me where the flashing hiss light is on the above bike and also how to switch the hiss light on/off pressuming it has one of course. I also own a 56 plated bird with hiss on it and i have a button next to the hiss light to turn the flashing light on if i want to. Thanks.

 

If this bike is a 2002, then it is not an F2 - you need to ask the F4i guys

 

I believe you're talking about a euro "F" model - this subforum is really for the bikes built 1991-1994. (PC-25) These bikes did not have HISS

the F3 was a PC-31 - No HISS there either.

I'm pretty sure you're needing the F4i forum - as that's the CBR600 that was in production at that time - the PC-35 chassis.

This is always a little confusing as the CBR600 in euope kept the CBR600F name through the 3 different chassis.

If you check the original post i have not listed it as an F2 but in fact an F-2 which is a 2002 F Model it is not an F4 or and F4i. F-1 is 2001, F-2 is a 2002, F-3 is a 2003 and F-4 is a 2004 and then it went onto CBR600RR. And yes i do have hiss on mine as HISS came about in 1999 i believe but my bike is still an F-2 2002 injected and not an F4 or f4i.

thats the key thing right? sorry bud i looked in my non euro model owners manual and didnt see it anywhere.
i even tried looking for the thread someone posted a while ago about it, but couldn't find it, you could try contacting honda, for an owners manual or an answer.
