If there's direct contact than maybe, if there's air in between they should be good. Only one way to find out

The best way to be safe with that, is to get a CF can, doesn't conduct heat nearly as bad. I can go ride for 2 hours of spirited riding, and grab my car bare handed.

Mine is not a devil exhaust, but my wifes leg really wasnt that close to the pipe. I think your passenger should definitely wear jeans though.

hey i got a high mount on my bike. the pipe gets blazing hot - obviously. the can doesnt get hot enough to burn a leg really. i mean you'll feel the heat but its not going to melt the skin off. i can ride for an hour, get off and hold the can, it doesnt burn.
not sure if thats the same for your pipe, mines a micron

I have the Devil CF high mount and it stays pretty cool. I would never put my girl on the back of my bike but I would imagine it's fine.
