if you take your bike apart enough you could probably do it under 30 minutes

dont get the slim ballasts, they are weaker in the out-put. Get the regular ballasts, tape them together in a stack after you plug-in the bulbs, and stick them in the open pocket at the bottom of the nose/front fairing with some two-way tape (mine came with some). It's a lot easier if you take the front fairing off and do it. Took my about 1.5 hours.

I could have swore that Blue Fox said it a while back on here, but I have a friend who bought them and I have the regular ballasts. We both got the same temp, and mines a bit brighter. Of course, it could be the just the two different bikes as his is an '07 RR. Just my opinion on them I guess.

I was curious is all, I don't have the ballasts in my bike and was looking at doing something to brighten it up.

The slim ballasts can vary from company to company but the ones I use (and any quality slim ballast) have the same output as the bigger ones. The bigger ones pull more power though, gotta love the beauty of efficiency.
