Default Help with scuffs on handlebar Bridge

Hey guys. I haven't seen any threads on this subject so I thought I'd pose the question to the CBRforum minds. What is the easiest way to get rid of these scuffs? Is it better to have it repainted? Does a "touch-up" paint like substance exist that would do the trick?

Here is a pic of mine for an example:

something like that would have to be sanded and re-anodized or painted. You can also buy those vinyl overlays that cover them up too.

Hey, thanks Nick. I was thinking something like that had to exist. If I have to take off all the other handlebar gear, I might as well go ahead and paint/anodize it though. I'm getting my tank painted next week, and I have access to anodizing equipment at work (although I've never done it). I appreciate your input

I would take some permanant black ink on a rag and rub it into the scratches. Sounds kind of hick but it really turns out pretty decent.

A buddy of mine that does all my painting said he has seen a few guys also do a powder coat (after sanding it down). He also suggests stop riding with your entire ring of keys swinging around while you ride.

Right now, I am leaning towards just getting a triple tree proctor like the one Nick suggested, but if its going to be covered anyways, there's no harm in trying the red neck method. I'm not far removed from one myself. I grew up in South East Georgia. haha
