Default HELP no start after panic stop!

Hey guys, so I came to a panic stop today, picked up the rear end in a stoppie and locked the rear wheel without hitting the clutch therefore stalling the engine. I came down kind hard from the stoppie and scared the **** out of myself. This was all done from about 25mph.

Now the bike just cranks and cranks and wont start. Tried giving it throttle and nothing. I actually ran the battery dead after about 15 minutes from trying to start it. I got the bike home with a friend and a truck and hooked up a battery charger, tried again, nothing.

I don't smell gas and there is absolutly no response from the engine.

There is about 3/4 tank of gas.

PLEASE HELP!

This may sound stupid but, did you check the emergency stop switch?

The what?

Do you meant the main switch to kill the bike on the right clip on? I thought that has to be down to even have the starter engage? If thats what youre reffering to then yes, I checked it.

Is there some other switch that is tripped during this kind of stop?

Just a WAG, but worth a shot. Possibly the Bank Angle Sensor? Usually only triggers when laid over, maybe the jolt got it. Stop fuel pump flow.

Reset it by turning key on and turning the Run switch off and on (red switch).

Does the engine turn over at all (e.g. pushing the bike in gear and then letting go of clutch)? If not it could be flooded?? just a thought.

Yes I also tried rolling down a huge hill and it had the same effect as just holding the starter, nothing, spare me being out of breath from pushing it back up

that is pretty odd. the wiring might have disconnected or some pin some where might have broken off due to the hard landing.
i would be extremely surprised if this is a mechanical issue.
i thought it was the tips sensor but your saying its not. weird.
good luck.

Maybe the sensor came unplugged, where is it located? I definatly did not tip over but the jolt may have killed it, I ame down really hard.I also forgot to check if the fuel pump is turning on, you can usually hear it, so I will check that today too.

So you said you can't roll start it? I can usually popstart my f4i with just a few steps pushing... make sure you give it a LITTLE throttle and everything is on when you try and pop it and see if that works. If that's the case it could be the battery, I had a similar problem where I put it in gear with clutch in, stand down, and it killed my bike. New battery solved all problems.
