Clutch on 2002 f4i was slipping so put a new clutch plates and the first time me and my buddy put the case back on we forgot to bolt the cam sensor wire down and it got cut. So we got a new cam sensor put in correctly and still no spark. Any thoughts or process to figure it out. Bike cranks no start. Fuel pump primes and you can smell the fuel from the exhaust when it cranks. Checked for spark no spark. Thought it was the broken crank sensor, but after replacing it with a new one, still no spark would like to see if anyone had this issue before. Seems like a lot of things can cause no spark in these bikes.

 

Not understanding how cam sensor wire got cut during clutch job - you talking about the sensor left front of engine head? Trying to understand what u guys might have touched during the work if it started fine before the work

 

Meant to say crank sensor. The tank and farings and airbox was taken off.
