Default HELP!

Can you guys help me out? I started my bike last night and this morning and when it is started and warming up the rpm goes from 2 to 3 without me messing with the throttle. What does that mean? what should i do?

Typical F4i....They usually do that when its cold out, and then it idles back down once it reaches operating temp...No biggie...=-)

lol calm down my friend its all eclectic, so,, its the electric choke, just like on a car or truck.

haha.... I was kind of scared. I just got that bike last week and I thought I got a piece of sh** bike. Alright, now i feel better. So i don't need to do anything to it? just relax and ride.

let her warm up to at least 120 degrees before you throw your leg over. letting her get up to around 160-170 is probably better but, 120 at least.

If it's running @ 2-3k rpms when first started, yes that's normal.
Engine speed will godown to idle (1,300-1,500 rpm) after engine warms up.
If it stays at 2-3k rpms all the time that isn't right and you might have to adjust the idle by turning idle adjust **** on left side of bike near gearshifter.
Keep us posted if that's not the case!

if your bike didn't rev that high when cold, then you should be asking for help. you're all backwards bro

You might want to check your flux capacitor...it could be a bit low. ( sarcasm if you didn't know) lol
