Hey everyone. Im in need of some quick pointers. I rode to work this morning (about a 20min ride) about 5 min from work my gauges shut off. spent a little time checking the bike. everything seems to be working, it shows the blinkers and the brights, just not the the mph and the rpm and temp is not displaying. Where should i start checking? has anyone had this issue?

 

spoke too soon, I blew a 10amp fuse. its the third from the battery side. labeled ind,meter, tail, illum.

Any idea what would blow this?

 

usually a short but it's possible it was just a chance thing. So you have any aftermarket wiring lights or anything on your bike? Run another ten amp fuse and see if it blows again. If it does PM me for advice (in case I miss you posting in the thread)
