Default Helmet lock..

Ok, being new to the F4i, i understand when your bike is parket, you can unlock your back seat, somehow secure your helmet, then relock your seat and the helmet will be locked to the bike as well..Is this true? and if so how do you do it? would you just loop the metal strap piece to something then lock down the seat?

Default RE: Helmet lock..

Most bikes now come with a hook attached to the inside bottom of your seat. You should see it when you open your back seat. It is better to hook the actual helmet ring to the hook if you'll be away from your bike for a while (such as at a club or at dinner). You can just hook the helmet strap to the hook and once you close it, the only way to get the helmet off is to either cut the strap or have the key (which you do).

well, that's not worth resurrecting a 6 year old thread,

but this might be. u should bolt some kind of metal tab to the subframe in front of the notch there to slip your d-ring over, then you wont need the cord.

Dunno bout the split seats but the 04-06 has 2 locks, one on each side.

That said, I have an intense fear of zombies so I'm burying this thread and covering it with cement

Locked
