i have a akra slip on but now since i got my pciIII i want to get a header. i cant find anything on them and seriously considering getting a custom made one for my bike. does anyone know were i can get a akra header or what. I know my slip on mid pipe wont fit but i already have another midpipe ready to go for appropriate size, just cant find anyone that sells a akra header only. i wanna get this before riding season so if anyone know or anyting plz let me know. just wanna make sure before i get a custom made header

Im not sure how Akra. is, but I was in the same situation as you, but wanting a micron header only. I spoke with a rep of micron's at a show and though they dont list the headers only for sale, you can still buy them if you call them directly. I decided not to spend the $350 for the little amount of gain I would get (and probably no noticable difference). Still looking on ebay though, lol

yep, you can contact them directly but i think it will cost you just the same as having your muffler guy to the job. however, he can give it more of a unique custom touch. like adding a baffle or 4into1 pipe and not that 4-2-1 that you get from akra. keep in mind the lack of exhaust back pressure from a high flow header and muffler will make your lower end and mid range sluggish. so unless you like to stay within the 8-9k rmp range all the time i dont recommend the header.

I've got a Micron Oval Serpant Full Race System that I will sell to you for 400. It comes w/ the headers, midpipe, and oval race can. You can use the header and sell the can...
