Ive noticed this a couple of times lately... when i ride to work, which is about 25 miles away, all highway. i exit on the off ramp and it comes to a stop sign, it wont down shift until i let the clutch out a lil bit and then it goes into gear. its been around 90 degrees out lately and the bike gets hot while in town but cools down on the highway. could this be from the bike being so hot in town and then getting right on the highway? the bike has been running fine otherwise. let me know if you have any input. thanks

I think your talking about breaking and stopping before you downshift right...if that is the case its because your suppose to do it at the same time if you can...My MSF instrutctor told us its just a saftey feature while riding so that you dont actually down shift and flip...not sure if that helps though.
