I don't think it will because I believe the gixxer's use radial mounted brakes. Maybe an older one, I'm not sure. The rotors are also bigger on the 1000's.

yep they fit
the '02 gsxr1000 calipers, and heres a pic of them on my F4i, you need longer brake lines,(i just pushed my forks through the tripples a little), and they look unreal, or you could use SP2/RC51, gold claipers, they are the same as the F4i, but gold, and add a nice high light... here is a pic of them aswell, both my bike...

i had a set on a firestorm(superhawk), and when i wrote it off, had them in the shed, was lookin at them one day and though, 'i wonder if they fit'.... so just bolted them on, they are close to the edge of the disc, but the full pad area is use, there is no over hang of the pad, and with good pads(benicks, carbon lorain?), then they would be great, plus they are some thing different, i bought crap pads off ebay though, and the brakes were crap, but thats my fault, not the calipers, i also had a set of SP2 calipers from the same convertion on thefirestorm, all i want ed was the master cyl for the vtr, but i bought the lot cheap, and they bolt straight on aswell.... so there are a couple of different options for you... hope this helps

peace

I stand corrected. Wasn't sure if the older ones were the non-radial type. Are the rotors the same diameter?

dont know, but i pulled the backing plates off, b4 i fitted them, then bolted them to the forks, the total pad area is on the disc face, so they must be pretty close...p

hey trixtrem. You said your braking was crap on ebay brake pads. Did you ever replace them and get the setup to work for you?
