Default Got tired of the stock windscreen**updated pics pg2**

well after quite some time looking for a "diffrent" windscreen for my F4i I decided to take matters in my own hands. I try and do as much stuff my self to save money and to try and be diffrent. So I've been looking into "tinting" my windscreen some how. After looking at regular window tint and deciding it costs too much I decided to look at other things. I finally decided to go looking around the Hobby/craft store and was looking at the stained glass supplys and found a "stained glass" Spray paint in blue. I bought it and took it home for a test spray on a piece of clear lexan I had laying around. After several coats I was content with the way it looked to give it a try on my windscreen.

And with that this is what I have....

Let me know what you think!

I'll take some outside pics tomorrow...

That looks really good, I don't think you could have matched the color any better had you tried

Not a fan of the color match, but looks well done. Hope you enjoy it!

Very nice choice. Window tint film would have left you dissatisfied I'm sure.

I really wanted to keep it some what translucent which is why I was thinking Blue window tint but I think I like this. If the weather holds out I take it out in the sun today and take some more pics!

That turned out great! Funny how something you didn't even think of before turns out to be a great way to do what you wanted to do in the first place!
