So I was on my way to work this morning. I was on the 202 freeway in AZ...being Christmas Eve and everything...there was not a lot of traffic at all. I speed up to about 150-160ish...just enjoying the highway all to myself. About eight miles later I slowed down and got on the off-ramp to exit the freeway. Then after about 1 min at the light, a swarm of officers pulled behind me. I got ticketed for going 162...my bike got towed and well I guess me lic was suspended becfause I didn't pay a photo radar ricket a six months ago (never got it it the mail...I was in the Army overseas)... My question is can a stock 06 f4i go that fast? It was a nice cool morning about 50-60 degrees. Strait away...maybe slightly downward angle at times...

I think you got a ticket for 62mph and put a 1 infront of it to try to be a cool guy.

 

mang...that's too fast...save that stuff for the track or something...

stock F4i can not go 162 actual speed...it would've taken some effort to even get up there.

don't be pulling that stuff on the road any longer...it's not fair to those who are travelling the road with you...and not fair to those you leave behind if something does happen.

Just doesn't make sense to me...I always thought that an f4i would top about at maybe 140 on a good day. Could the cop have messed up? I was moving along pretty quick, but it didn't feel like I was 40mph shy of 200..that's ridiculous.

 

OMG look at all these freakin saints like no one hear has ever got on there bike on an open road and just opened her up!!!! Yall are given him a hard time cause he spead and now he is braggin about his ticket, maybe he is lieing maybe he not who knows who cares! the point is he was going fast on an open street no one around except the obvious cop prob in the air! dude my speedo has said 164 but I am down one tooth in front full exhaust k&N and dynotuned and I had about a 1k left before red line! So is it possible who knows motors are a complicated peice of machinery! most people will say no you wernt going that fast some may think its possible, there is an easy answer, buy a speedo healer and get on an open empty street and see how fast you can go! in matter of fact since I am sure am no saint and have no respect for any other person on the road (since I speed) I need to buy one anyways and I will finf out for ya!

 

If he was looking at what your speedo indicated, than yes, you were probably going 162. But actual speed was likely 140-145.
