Well, I rode it for all day today. It runs awesome. I had to replace the battery because it wouldn't keep a charge.

 

i like that color...most people dont, but i think it looks real clean...it would also be cool if the red was black

Excellent deal indeed! I bought a 3100 mile 2003 for $5750 at the peak of the season... I know I paid a bit too much, but it didn't have a scratch on it, all maintenance done, and owned by a girl, so it wasn't beaten up too bad. No offense ladies, but you're a bit more sane than most guys. At least my wife is a bit more sane on her ex500.

I really like the red and white, mine is grey/black, wish it had a bit more color really...

Sounds like you got a steal in that one. I paid a little more with more miles, but mine did have alot of extras on it and I am wanting to do more to it! Better go ahead and start you a seperate bank account for stuff you wanna do to it later! LOL CONGRATS AGAIN!

 

I rode it for pretty much all weekend. It was a little cold here but not too bad. I am mostly going to do subtle apperance mods to it. I am going to start off and get a cowl for the rear seat. I am trying to get the chicken strips off the sides, the guy before me hasn't riden it within a year or a little less.
