I also picked up my first F4i a couple of days ago. 2005 F4i Silver, 2500 miles on it...needs a cleanup(chain a bit rusty etc) but in pretty good shape...loving it so far!

congrats on the bike. $3k sound pretty good. I paid $4k for mine ('01, 8k miles), but I got a free helmet and the stock windscreen and pipe out of the deal, too. That reminds me... I need to look for a new helmet after my last... uhhh... altercation.

Thanks for all the posts I can't wait to get on it tomorrow. The bike has never been laid down the only problem is that the tank has a pretty good dent in it.
