I have shinko stealth 003s on now because my bike came with a brand new set. they aren't bad for the price. very cheap. they seem to get a bad wrap by everyone that hasn't tried them. back tire hooks up 'crazy' maybe even 'crazy awesome' compared to the dunlops i used to use. profile is a bit low for my taste but they are very grippy in the turns. stay away from gravel/water though. I've got almost 2k miles on them and they seem to be holding up very well to my abuse.

i have to agree with the dunlops that they aren't as great. they aren't as sticky as the michelin PP's. now those things have crazy dry and wet traction. they're a more medium all around softness/hardness. if you wanna try something else, try to PP 2CT's... medium grip in middle of tire, then soft on the sides for awesome grip on curves and turns

I was looking at Michellin Pilot Powers and Dunlop Qualifiers and didn't know about Diablos. Looks like diablos are the right choice with its price, to the top of its quality. I want to change my both tires. I changed my back tire 3 weeks ago and now tire has a burried screw in it, I have no idea how that happenned but the tire luckly haven't gone flat.

Yeah, don't let the price of the Diablo fool you, it's just as good as a Pilot Power if not better. When I'm really cookin up the twisties it gets all nice and tacky and sticks real good.

We all are going to say our tires that we ride with are the best. It takes your own personal experience to decide what you like the best.

I know i know.....i went and picked up a Michellin Pilot Power 180/55/zr17 ($152), and because he made me a deal and a half i also picked up a Maxxis Supermaxx for ($50) . He said that i should get so really good miles out of the Maxxis. It is the same size and is W rated!! 169mph........thats a higher speed rating then the Michellin!!!

do the CTs really have medium compound in the middle and softer on the outsides?? that would be the PERFECT tire for me

that's supposed to be the 2ct...the 2 COMPOUND TECHNOLOGY, hence 2CT...
they make the new pilot roads with this stuff...should be interesting IF the sides are the same soft rubber as the powers...
