So I think someone must have stolen my bike and did a huge burnout then returned it.. and little to say I need a new tire.. any suggestions on a certain tire over the other? .. and I was wondering if anyone knows of a tire with orange accent's (lettering, stripe) thanks

don't know about the lettering, but i like the pirelli diablo's they grip really good, its best to get them in a matching pair.. thats my opinion you'll get alot of different answers on what kinda tire its really what fits your riding style... good luck

PilotPowers are one of the best tires you can purchase. A great tire that will stick and last.

As far ar the lettering, check e-bay for tire paint. for example: LINK

I've been reading up on a lot of reviews online and I'm pretty sure I'm goin with the Pilot Powers based on all of the positive feedback...

Pilot Powers, Pilot Powers CT2, and Dunlop Qualifiers are the one's I see everyone talking about.

You racing guys.... Which one is a better tire?

1) CT2s
2) Qualifiers

I'm either going with 1, 2 above for mostly street riding (twisties alot)but at least 2 track school days planned. Right now leaning towards the CT2s.

Thanks

It seems to be 50-50 on the pilots and qualifiers. I am on my third qualifier and I stand behind the rubber. I scrape pegs on both sides and they have great feedback in the turns and tremendous grip.

Ive run 2 sets of Pilot Powers now and love them. Wont change the next time around either. My buddy has the Metzler M3s and he says he doesnt like em and complains they dont grip well in cold conditions.

I have been running Conti Sport-Attacks on my '06 1krr, for the past two years. I haven't had any trouble on the street and have gotten as much as 6000 miles out of a set. I would say thatI ride fairly hard, dragging the pegsisn't uncommon, but the majority of my wear is right down the center. Warm up is ultra quick and I have never felt the bike get twitchy when pushed hard. The wet-weather ride is the best I have ever had as well.I would recommend them to anyone for the road, as I don't have any track experience with them yet.
