man, i had the SAME problem w/ mine. i ordered if from HAI and called them up imdediately. they said they'd ship me a new clamp, that someone must have tossed a larger one in the box w/ my pipe. they ended up sending me a BRACKET, i sent that back and informed them of the mistake, and im yet to see my clamp....going on two months. i said F*** it and put some rtv silicone stuff on the slight exhaust leak that i have from it. so far so good. no change in sound, and no problems w/ the pipe. I LOVE THE PIPE!

THANKS ALOT MAN.......that confirms what i thought, they definetly sent me the wrong midpipe....your pipe goes straight over, the one they sent me flares out about 1/4 all the way around it, not even close to fitting.
is there anyone i can email a pic to so they can post it up for everyone to look at?

if you dont mind me asking where you aregetting the pipe from for that price i'm looking to pick one up myself, but everywhere is selling for $505 with shipping, but this is for an M5 carbon fibre Two brothers exhaust for an '03 F4i? let me know i'm always willing to save money.
