Looks like a really nice bike but IMO the price is high.

Stator is that gold piece on the left side. Anyways, i think those are after-market fairings, and they look really sharp. Everything looks clean, so it's a good bike. During the winter, bikes typically sell for a decent amount less. To put in to perspective i bought a bike this month for $2300. It's 01 F4i, and has 33k miles on it, and a few bangs on the fairings. I think that bikes would be a good deal at around $3k, and that's not low balling. Best of luck!

I don't think there's anything wrong with these types of posts, I like seeing what people are buying F4i's for .

Fantom, it's not a bad thing, but there's a good chance it was crashed. Talk to them get the info. Ask what kind of mechanical history does it have? Was it tracked? When was the inspection last done? Was it ever dropped? Etc etc. The price unfortunately somewhat depends on the area as well. In Philadelphia CBR's in general sell for a lot. I bought mine out of state. After he answeres those question, ask him what's he willing to go down to. He'll probably ball park. I mean if he put it up for $4500 he probably won't go lower than $4k. So you might have to wait for him to drop price.
