Udate:

I got the wind shield and installed it. Looks cool. Goes pretty high so I can always see my tach now and can tuck in properly (6'3").

Problem is that it seems to be melting my gauge cluster. So I can't give it the thumbs up.

Well throw some freakin pictures up homes, don't just say it looks good and not share!

What do you mean it's melting your cluster? Sun light coming through it you mean?!?

I'm guessing the curvature is focusing the sunlight on one spot like a magnifying glass and it's melting my gauge cluster.

The gold shield isnt for everyone... but I like it. Looks like the HUD area of a fighter jet. I still need to get a gold visor to match though.

ooooooooohhhhhhh...yeeeeeeaaaah... Maybe it's just the pic, but it sort of looks brown to me? But if that floats your boat Maverick than that's all that matters! I think before you go throwing new windshields and spike mohawks on your helmet you should start customizing other area's of your bike man! It's fun!

It's probably the pic but it is more of a burnt gold not yellow gold. I'll attach one more pic from a different angle showing some sun glare.

Oh I know about mods... I spent 10 years modifying Talons . On my 500hp 98 I had an AEM EMS full stand alone and did my fuel and timing maps from scratch.

I just got the F4i a couple months back and have only been riding a year and a couple months. But the F4i is my first sport bike so there's lots to learn.

Took her to the 1/4 on Wednesday and got down to 12.05 @ 117.5 mph. There's still room to hit 11's since my 60 fts were still about 2.05s by the end of the day.

There will be mods with time but for now I want to fully get to know her stock.
