Hi everyone, new here.
Hopefully I will be going to look at an 01 F4i later today. I've been in the market for a sport bike for a while now, and have really just been taking my time, but this one sounds promising. Onto the bike. Like I said, it is an 01 with 15k miles. Polished frame, wheels and swingarm. Stretched a bit, 4" maybe?, power commander, Yoshi exhaust, lowered, air shifter, I guess it has some motor work done to it as well. The guy says it's quick, which I don't really care about. I just want something that looks nice and I can enjoy.
What I am wondering is, what should I be sure to look for. I'm no stranger to bikes or motors so I know the obvious things, but are their certain things with these bikes that I need to be aware of? Recalls or things like that?
I'm hoping to pick it up for 35-3600.
Any help would be great appreciated.
Thanks.

when looking for a sportbike, dont buy anything with motor work unless you know the original owner and the history of the bike.
modifications like undertail kits and exhausts are acceptable IMO. even a powercommander would make me stay away from a bike.
theres really no reason to modify any modern sportbikes engine in my opinion..they are all stupid fast for everyday riding. track bikes are a different animal..
if you need more then a 600, get a liter bike
