I would've thought that there wouldn't be any cops on the Dragon, considering that the Dragon has it's own enforcement. People go there FOR the challenge. Why stop them if they want to do it.......

 

I just got back from Deals gap and had a great time.I managed to get 2.5 days of riding in before the rains came.I think the Cherahala skyway was my favorite road,truly unbelievable on a bike!The veiws from up there were amazing.I had no problems with cops,only saw 2 the 3 days I was there.I am going back next year for sure with more people!September 08 anyone? They do? lol They has ppl they help matain the road not enforce anything. The BCSD n the THP do the enforcement when its needed. The prime season is over so the enforced potroling has ended. matter of fact the first weekend w/o the cops up there they had like 10 crashes n a few of those being flown out.
