Why is there an anouncement on the forum about gear lube. No japanese bike out there uses gear lube, definitely not the F4i so why is this here? Gear lube is what is used in car standard transmissions and differentials and has nothing to do with motorcycles.

yea but we just use chain lube...the recommended stuff flings.

Point: Gear lube has no place in the garage of a F4i owner unless they also own cars.
