Default Gauge Cluster Plastic Question

Does anyone know a way to buff out scratches on plastic? Such as the plastic covering the tach gauge? Thanks for any answers.

Meguires makes a product called plast-x I'd give it a try before anything else. How bad are the scratches? If you can post up some pics I'll be able to give you a better idea.

yeah theres tons of products for that. like jp said theres that or you can go to any of your local autoparts, pepboys, etc, and pick up a headlight lens repair kit. Im sure that would work just as well on the plastic covering your tach. If not.....

I can't get any pictures right now, my bike is at school where I am working on it. But the scratches are strange, you can't feel em to the touch, and it looks like it is all the way through the plastic. Thanks for the tips so far though.

Well just went and checked out check auto and they only had headlight repair kits to take the yellow tint off of em and make em white again. Not sure if thats what you guys had in mind, so I didn't purchase it.

The headlight repair kits is a kit to buff out the head light! it well include 3-4 levels of sand paper and buffing compound.
the sand paper is to remove all surface damage such as scratches and road film.
