My cuzin and i went on a ride last weekend and it seems that my bike got a better gas mileage! I ride and f4i and he rides a 600rr! We both were getting on our bikes at certain times so it would seem as tho it would be pretty even! We both filled up before we left San Fran and it was able to go down to gilory and halfway back!? My cuzin had to fill up again before we even started headed back! I think trip was aprox 150mi trip

 

I got 147 miles before the first of the reserve bars started this week. I believe the F4i is better on gas than the RR..

 

I went on a few hundred mile trip to the coast, and I got nearly the exact same as Frydaddy. 145 miles then the reserve lights came on.

 

3 gallons gets me approx 100-120 miles... I don't like to run the thing to empty so I fill up when I'm on the last bar... Oh BTW 04 RR with a -1 front

 

I get an avr. of 140 miles per tank till fill up.. and thats before my reserve kicks in ..it kicks in at 155 to 160 ...both city and highway miles ...04 f4i ..stock

 

Yeah I get 150 till reserve... that's like 45 highway
But dang mang, my friends gixxer 600 gets him 60 highway [:-]

 

the 2007 kawaski ninja 250 gets 70-75 mpg highway ..now thats some mileage there

 

I've averaged about 48mpg my last two tanks. Most of that is backroad highway cruisin' at about 70-80mph. Much better than the 19 my RX7 gets...or the 21 or so the wife's Xterra gets. Overall i spend about $10/wk on gas if i commute on the bike and closer to $40 if i use my car. Ridiculous.

I get about 45 mpg with my F4i less depending on how hard I get up on it.
