Default Fuel pump stay

Just picked up a 02 f4i. Pump wouldn't prime so checked continuity on all the wires, ended up there was a short in the wire where it goes through the fuel pump stay. I decided to drill through it and put a new wire sealing it with seal all and jb gas repair putty but kinda iffy on it, don't want it leaking or blowing up on me. Does anyone have past experience with this or know where I can get a new stay at? Part number 16720-MBW-A10. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks in advance

much cheaper at Bike bandit, but currently unavailable to ship, you might want to call them

I'm thinking that the used market is going to be their only choice. Not available to ship or ok to backorder are "positive" methods of saying something is not available, or we don't have it and we can't get it. I think it's a marketing ploy. I highly doubt BikeBandit would have it. The one in the UK, I'd say there is a slight chance. I'd recommend putting a saved search on ebay for that item or the entire fuel pump assembly. They're likely to pop up from parted out bikes.

Sorry, UK term. We have a number of bike breakers over here, such as fastlineparts who sell on ebay.

I think it was Demon who suggested we create an English to English to English translation guide for AUS/USA/UK terminology.

OK, so we're talking about a motorcycle salvage place, used parts an all. Got it.
