ok dude so when there is about 1.5 gallons left in the tank the fuel reserve light comes on which is 4 bars to the left of the speedometer after a few miles one bar will flash then 2 then 3 then 4 then get gas. gas mileage depends on the way you ride i.e if you drive like a bat out of hell you get worse gas mileage if you drive like a grandpa you get good gas mileage. but for my 03 f4i just going to and from work about 10 miles round trip i get about 150 miles per tank but when im riding the curves and straights out in the country i get about 115 miles per tank. and when you fill up sit on the bike and keep it upright so you can get all the gas you can in the tank if you put too much in it will spill out in front of the kickstand via fluid runoff hoses and when you lift up the gas cap you will see a thin bar going side to side at an angle dont fill up past that line hope this helps congrats on your first bike great choice

^Punctuation is your friend.

Basically, if your question hasn't been answered, a sectioned bar will pop up on your gauge, indicating how much is left in your RESERVE tank. Once you fill up, it takes anywhere from 60-90 seconds in my experience for said bar to go away. Riding at a normal clip can get me over 200 miles on a tank.

And yes, before people jump on my *** for driving like a grandpa (hydro), I've also gotten less than 140 with more "spirited driving"

whenever i fill up i only put like 2 gallons in at a time, not saying thats better than filling it up, but it lasts me about a week and i drive only my bike to school and work. and my bikes running super rich. it doesnt get too bad of gas milage

Canadian, eh? (I'm in Victoria)

I think the tank holds about 18 liters. I usually get about 160-180 km before fuel warning lights turn on (though I tend to ride for fun and not for mileage).

Got any pics of your new ride zone01 ?

ps. An F4i is a lot of bike if you haven't ridden before. Take it easy on that right hand
