Default Front wheel wrong direction?

alright so this is my problem. on my 06 f4i if i match the arrow on the tire and wheel the same direction as it should be and i go to mount my wheel back on my bike my tread direction is the wrong way. The tire would be channeling the water to the center of my tire. i have looked at my buddies r6,r1, and gsxr's and all of theirs are correct and they are running the same tires as me. so i just said screw it and reversed it where the tread pattern is running the correct direction instead of following the direction of the arrows. will this hurt anything? i have been riding on it and havent noticed anything weird.

good question, mine look reversed but on bridgestone's website it shows the tread and the rotation direction.
i would call your manufacturer to verify and reverse it, i can't answer why it looks backwards but hopefully someone can.
if you didn't swap the spacers out from the wheel/axle i would definitely not ride it and reverse it. also make sure you mount the tire properly.
the book says to tighten the axle and then the pincher bolts on the right side, and the brakes i think, not sure, then bounce the suspension and tighten the left side pincher's.
i think there is a better way to do that which involves leaving the brake calipers loose and bouncing the suspension to get everything seated right.
it is possible to have a fork not plum, all angled and such.
here is a picture im refering to on the tread direction

Let's see a pic of your wheel/tire combo.

Keep the tire and rim rotating in the correct direction. The tire may seem backwards, but its not. They designed them that way, and they know what they're doing.

On a car tire, the water gets channeled to the outside. But remember, a car doesn't lean. As your leaning on the bike tire, the water gets pushed through the tire to the outside. You can't look at the entire tire as a whole due to the fact that only an inch or so is actually touching the pavement at any given time.

Another thing to take into consideration. The brake discs have directional arrows on them as well. The Wheel(Rim) Brake discs and directional arrow on the tire should all be facing the same direction. If you take the wheel off the bike a shop will probably charge around $20 to switch it the right way and balance it.

I'll try to post up a pic later today. And the tire is mounted correctly on the wheel. Both the arrow on the wheel an the arrow on the tire are rotating the same direction. And when I did say screw it and switched it around where the tread pattern is following the direction of the rear I did swap the spacers. I have rode for a little bit like that and feel nothing weird, the brakes feel normal and the steering is fine. But I'm still confused why my friends have the same tires and they don't have this problem. Their wheels and tires are mounted correctly and facing the correct rolling direction and their tread pattern matches the rear where mine faces the opposite direction. If u were looking at the bike from the front, my tire looks like this |^| And there pattern is facing the other direction

I might swap it next time I'm at my buddies shop cause that's where my front stand is at lol... But I don't think it will kill me to run it like that for a little bit before I swap it
