Front-end chatter

I've been noticing something like this too. I was parking my bike on the street and pumped the front. So my bike was sort of slanted a bit and every time I pumped it, I head a weird sound that seems to come from the forks. Haha sorry I'm no help. but I THINK I'm having the same problem. Hope it's nothing big. =X

Mine make a "pop" noise when i hit a curb or bump too hard...for me it seems like the front fairings screw holes are too big and it kind of floats there...idk...doesnt bother me no bleeding forks or anything...when i pump the forks i dont have the sound either...i get a little chatter every once in awhile but i highly doubt its anything...unless someone can tell me otherwise...

I don't have a bike stand so I'm not sure if I can put them in myself..

Here's a good write-up by thirdgenlxi: LINK. Before you guys go on removing the bearings, you ought to just torque them down first and see if that doesn't fix it. Sounds to me like they're just loose. The only time I believe you should replace the bearings is if you feel a "ratcheting" type resistance when turning the bars, meaning the bearing race has worn-in grooves from the rollers.
