RE: Frame Sliders?
i have some. tipped over walking it through a turn(sucks when you have shorter legs and the front and back wheels get on a high part of the road and you cant touch any more)
just a little nick on the frame slider.. and i have shorter ones that only stick out about an inch... i didnt get the sliders to protect the fairings..

RE: Frame Sliders?
i dunno guys. . i recently had an accident at speed. . i probably went down at 80-90 at jennings gp last weekend slowing for turn one and then lowside. . guess what i had. . .
vortex frame sliders. it ground it down most of the way. i cracked the rear tail section and rashed the upper, small crack on left sie fairing (when it went down)
broke a rearset and clutch lever
total repair bill (minus paint): 67.xx for (new frame slider puck, rearset bracket, clutch lever)
and my bike will be rideable again tonight (also had to restraighten the forks.)
i will be painting on friday (royal blue with silver wing kit)
but if i didn't have any sliders or those no-cut jobbers i would have a totalled bike
