Frame Sliders?
yeah man! the ones where it screws directly into the motor mount is the strongest ****. none of that crappy 2 piece adapter bull**** where it breaks all the time! but good luck on the install mine was a bitch... lol
I have the "cheesy" no drill ones. Here's my take though. The reason I bought them was if the bike was tipped over in the garage (or anywhere for that matter) or if I was going "very" slow and the bike goes down they'll do the same job as the "true" frame sliders. I won't argue the fact that at a high rate of speed they wouldn't hold up. Quite frankly though, if my bike goes down doing 50 mph +, if the insurance co. doesn't total it I'll get rid of it. I wouldn't want it anymore. Time for a new bike. Just my opinion.

I finally got them on mine (only took me 94k miles to get them on, haha)... Vortex sliders, the ones you gotta drill. After my last spill and having to drop nearly $1000 for new fairings, repainting the tail and upper, and some other parts, I decided enough of this crap, I'm getting sliders
