Default frame sliders!

After witnessing my buddy eat **** on his r1; at about 40 mph, (hewas tryinga power wheelie)
I’ve decided to invest in some frame sliders. Those things 'work', theysaved his bike!
-I'm just wondering what brands are mostpopular.
-And if I have to cut holes in my fairings?? (Im pretty sure I do)

If you wanna do it right, then you will have to cut holes in your fairs. Do a search on frame slider installation and you will find a couple good write ups.

that's the reason why hecrashed right there! never consume feces while trying to power wheelie going 40 mph! why? because the taste will make you close your mouth, shake your head in disgust...making you lose balance, leading to crash!

yes...cut holes...derlin sliders and other plastic ones...don't get anything metal.

I have vortex frame sliders and they're great. They have replaceable pucks in case anything should happen. You'll have to cut holes depending on your bike. Judging from your pic, you have an 02 f4i like me so you'll have to cut holes. It's quite simple really, but a pain in the ****. I didn't want to cut holes in my fairings either.

cages are only for stunters in parking lots, they actually make a crash worse by catching in the ground at higher speeds (20 and up)
