Default Frame Slider Heartburn

Is it just me or does everyone have troubles putting holes in their new bike?

Depends on how important the frame and (in a few cases the fairings) are to you.

I understand it is just one of those things.... I hate to do something like put a hole in the fairing but i would hate to drop it and not have em more. It just dosent sit right to drill into a brand new bike like that!!

COMPLETELY understand. I dont like oding it either, at all!!! But then you think about it. There is a GREAT write up on here on what o do. Go under the HOW TO section and look for the Definative Frame Slider Install

haha with everything my bikes (plural) have been through, drilling a couple holes is nothing

im the same way ive had frame sliders sitting in the package since christmas, i need to just put them on cause i know if i dont ill drop it or something stupid right before i put them on

I'm with woody, ive got plastic weld, stickers, holes, scratches, you name it on my fairings. drillin holes in em aint no thang brotha!

A well drilled hole is better than the alternative.

Still the fact ur putting a whole in a brand new 06 takes alot to over come. I got some on order and im letting a friend do it for me. Rather see the finished result then me messing it up. Plus he has a bike shop.

I was worried about it too, but it really isn't any big deal. Just be careful, and take your time.
