Default Found an exhaust...MiVV

So, I've been trying to decide on an exhaust. As a former Honda 599 rider, MiVV exhausts are pretty popular with the 599 guys. As you know, MiVV has had their contract renewed again by the Honda Repsol team. R&D is top notch with the MiVV stuff...afterall they are taking care of the exhaust needs of for Hayden and Pedrosa.

They make several exhausts for the F4i. One is the GP "shorty" and one is the X-cone. Both of these exhausts have homolgated baffles that are removable. If riding with the baffle removed it is techinically not street legal. If you ride with the baffle (silencer) removed these things sound like a f*cking GP bike coming down the straight...SCREAMING LOUD. The first video posted below is the GP exhaust and the second is the X-cone conical exhaust. Both videos are from MiVV's dyno testing with the exhaust for the F4i. Both videos are WITH the silencer. wish their was a vid I could post without the silencer so you could see what these things can really sound like. They make 3 other exhaust, round, oval, and small oval. I've just narrowed my choices down to the GP or X-cone. I'll probably go with the x-cone...it was always the most popular in the 599 crowd too.

Anyway, it should be cool...I'll be the first person up here with an MiVV on an F4i as far as I'm aware. Their quality is definitely top notch...just ask Repsol Honda.

If interested you can visit their site...the link below will take you straight to the GP and X-cone Honda F4i portions of their site:

Will post pics up when I receive the exhaust and get it installed.

Function over form my friend...

The GP is still an option. I like the looks of the GP in titanium...

But there's something about the X-cone that I really like. If you could hear it in person you would understand...it f*cking screams like you can't imagine...

Here's some actual pics off the website of the GP and X-cone. View is a little better than on the dyno videos... I also did a QUICK photochop of the X-cone on a blue F4i (first picture shown). No making fun of my poor photochop abilities...it's the best I could do in 15 seconds.

I hate to conform, but i must say the GP looks the best, imo. And like i said earlier...i can't get over that GP howl on the dyno vid. Now where's that drooling smiley...
