Default forks from a RR?

would it be possible to use the front forks from a 954 RR and install them on 02 F4i. I was thinking about finding a junked 954 with good forks and possibly putting it on my bike, the only thing is that im not sure if everything matches up. any ideas? thanks guys

not gonna be a direct replacement. you'll need the front end of a 954 to do this. you'll need the brakes, that bolt on to the 954 forks, fender, etc.
you'll also need the triples as the f4i does not have inverted forks and thte 954 does.

if you can swing it, totally awesome.
check out the brakes on the 954RR, inverted forks, etc...

This is actually a more popular mod that you think Ive seen quite a few ppl with it done but it is a good chunk of change.

What I am wondering is what other mods I have to do for this conversion. I kno on the 900RRs with the 929/954 front end u have to lower the front to correct the stance of the bike. What has to be done to the F4i to correct its stance? also I heard controversy about placing the clips-ons below or above the triple tree?
