Default flush mount

hey i just bought some flush mount turn signals for the front and im wondering how the flash is going to be, if there is one at all. what resistors are you guys using because i see different ones with different watts and ohms? also where are you guys mounting them given that they get hot?
whats an alternative to getting a resistor, or is that the best route?

you can do something like this

http://www.amazon.com/Resistors-Sign.../dp/B001MUMPNC

all the leds will do without the resistor is flash faster....

i personally like the leds flashing faster.... my tail lights are led to so they all flash at the same rate....

Must be the shift light, to the left of neutral. What does that shift light mean exactly, is it bad?

lol i take it you havent ran your bike through the gears..... once you get up to your red line the shift light turns on to tell you to shift.... useful when racing and such.... drag cars have them as well if youve ever been around drag racing... same principle

Any recommendations for frame sliders?

ummm im happy with my trex sliders... relatively inexpensive if you have a more money alot of people recommend woodcraft...

as for your light... when you first turn ur bike on everything should light up and your rpm needle should sync

i installed the proton flush mount turn signals on the front of my 03 F4i
i didnt use any resistors and they work fine. the stock wiring harness is 3 wires
and the flush mount has 4 wires. i think it was connect just the yellow wire for regular
just the orange for strobe or both yellow and orange for fade in fade out
