Default First Wheelie!!

So i said i would never try this, but after 2500 miles of riding and some experimenting, i finally decided to half heartedly try a wheelie. I was cruising along in first gear, i hit it, got up to 11,000 rpm or so, took my hand off the gas so it would recoil and PUNCHED IT. HOLY ***T!!!! I am a big guy (210 lbs) so i was unsure what to expect, damn these things have some serious power. The front wheel came right off the ground, and QUICK! It was only off the ground about a foot or so and for about a second or two, but that was plenty for me. The smile i had on my face after i checked my drawers was from ear to ear. SO i tried it again, got about 2 feet off the ground this time and got a bit scared. Anyways, how do you hold a wheelie steady without falling backward off the bike? I am a bit afraid right now to pop the clutch, but maybe soon!!

Thanks in advance for the input!!

Check out some of the stickys in the stunterz section. They have more info than you will know what to do with. Make sure your using gear if you foolin around. It's not a matter of if...it's a matter of when.

YEAH NP... yeah man i guess you just get bored with just riding it so you need a good wheelie session every now and then im the the best at them either but i have been working on them to get to that point of doing them good.

Well also if you come down to hard you end up breaking the tabs on you front fairing that holds the headlight on.Anyway the first thing you have to do before even trying to hold the wheelie is get the fear out of you. So take it slow till your comfortable picking it up. The rest is pretty much throttle control.
