I tried one with the front tire and it was pretty lousy. Thanks for the 'How To' video, now I know what to do.

id have to agree with kevntri, save ur rubber for the twisties, sure it looks cool, but is that burn out worth 250 bucks for a new tire, not unless u dont like twisties ..then go nutz

It was the stock tire and they were **** anyways, anytime i would lean over too much i would feel it start to give. So i have been saving up for some dunlop qualifiers or conti attacks. Since i now have the money for them i figure i would burn up the stock one a little. That and the season here in Maryland is almost up!! I'll have the new tires on by next season, along with a list of other goodies i have planned.

Yea it wasnt as hard as i thought trying to hold the front brake and twist the gas, just squeeze the brake as much as u can b4 giving it gas. but even then, after the first few burn outs the rear tire was so sticky it didnt matter how hard i squeezed the brake, and i was scared to give it more gas. oh well.

It must be my age(46) but I just don't get the burn out thing. By the way, I have the Conti Attacks on now. Did a track day about a month ago and like the tire very much. The turn-in is good and the grip with temps from 50-65 was very good.

I guess I am a little conservative, but I am with the golf bum. I don't really care for burnouts...I like the smell of burnt rubber about as much as I like the smell of burnt hair. My buddy did a burnout at the shop who was going to put on his new tires, so he tore that tire up. He said he spent the next week cleaning up the mess he made underneath his bike. Here is a link to the video of it. When you get there, click on "Jason Burnout".

I dont know whats up with you saying the tires are ****. The tires they changed to from 05 to 06 is a huge differnce looks and performance. I got the 05 tires that have the sqaure wheel feel when rubbin the edge. But to each thier own. I hope that motor was broke in to windin it out like that. It looked good though.

hahahah...don't be a wuss! put your feet on the pegs where they belong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahhaha...some questions...

1. how can vid 1 be called first burn out ever if there's all the rubber on the ground already?

2. did you like cleaning up the crap from your rim, exhaust etc? hahahha i hate that!

3. what was your stock tire that was so bad making you all slip out and stuff? if you're smooth and not a hack, shouldn't happen...even with 207s...
